Boston Best Colleges and Universities

Colleges and universities can help you create a bright future for yourself. While your success depends largely on your ability, skills, and efforts, a good educational institution can nurture your talents and provide all the tools you need to succeed in life. At Be Driven, we offer regular college shuttles in Boston and are familiar with the best and most popular educational institutions here and have put together a list that would help you decide:

  • Boston University-Recently, this university was ranked third in Massachusetts, finding its place right after MIT and Harvard. It’s a very popular institution with students from all over US and the world studying here. It was founded in 1839 and is a non-profit organization with several branches across the world including places like Washington, Dubai, London, and Brussels.

It’s one of the largest universities in US with an enrolment range of 35,000 to 39,999 students. It’s a great choice if you want to study in a good university that’s relatively affordable.

  • Boston College-This institution was established in 1863 and is also a non-profit university for an urban population. It has a smaller enrolment range from 15,000 to19,999 students but accepts many national and international students.

Many of its students are Boston residents and we often get them to school from their homes in the suburbs through our college transportation services. It’s a very selective college with admissions rates of only 20% to 30% but the quality of education here is excellent.

  • Northeastern University -This is another large university in the vicinity of Boston that provides excellent education. It has a large enrolment capacity of 30,000 t0 34,999 students but it’s rather selective during the admissions process and will allow only 30% to 40% of the potential students to join.

The university also accepts international students so there’s a sizable population of people from other countries in and around this university. They tend to prefer college shuttles for Boston institutions because they’re unfamiliar with the public transportation system.

There are many other colleges and universities in Boston that are worth a consideration, including UMass Boston, Berklee College of Music, and Simmons College, etc.
